We are in need of 3-4 consultants to assist in preparation of claim files and responses to claimants, as required by the settlement terms of a recent law suit.
The consultants will be responsible for compiling the 'Company Claim File' from our systems.
Specific duties will include:
Research our systems to compile relevant information creating the 'Company Claim File'.
Prepare brief rebuttal to the Claim File based on the Company documents and settlement standards.
The desired experience/skill sets:
Paralegal/law clerk equivalent - education and experience equivalent to a four-year degree or working towards a juris doctorate degree
Required skills
1) good technical legal skills
2) general business awareness
3) good computer skills
4) familiarity with Adobe Professional
5) attention to detail
6) deductive reasoning skills
7) aptitude to work on projects with minimal or no supervision
This position will be located in Topeka, KS.
The expected duration of the contracting agreement will be 10 - 12 weeks.
